Cottage Overview

Situated across the road from Cypress Cottage, with its own private garden, Cypress has three ensuite bedrooms, a comfortable dining room and sitting room and a covered stoep that makes a perfect spot for breakfast and sundowners ( also popup for Screen one). There’s also an outdoor dining and braai area out in the garden, beneath the shade of a vine-covered pergola.

The cottage has a covered stoep, which looks on to its own private garden where there is also a braai and dining area under a vine-shaded pergola.

Breakfast

A super sumptuous traditional country affair at Cypress Cottages with the best of fresh farm produce that the Karoo has to offer. Fruit in season, picked from the orchard, figs, grapes, apricots, new-laid eggs and bacon, homemade preserves.

Included are all the usual cereals, muesli and yoghurt, served indoors at the cosy dining table, or out in the garden.

1st Room

Cottage furniture and simple white linen create a scene of uncluttered comfort in this spacious room, which has twin beds and an ensuite shower; Windows to the north and west add to its brightness; classic riempies benches and leopard print cushions remind you that you are in Africa.

2nd Room

Classic yet stylish cottage comfort: bold blue and white plaid checks, an antique pine double bed, and a traditional riempies bench lend this room a special appeal. The ensuite bathroom also has a shower cubicle.

3rd Room

A handsome double bed, a deep armchair, an antique chest combine with a scheme of dark blue and white to make this room particularly inviting. The spacious bathroom also contains a shower cubicle.
